Ever since Lock got introduced in V-Premium Vanguard, Bushiroad has not released support for Deletors unless its some hard-to-get promo that the rest of the world doesn’t have access to. Because of this, us fans of filth have no way of making our favorite aliens stronger on its own. Since Bushi won’t support Deletors, I found a way to combine both Lock and Delete into a fun control deck that switches playstyles with a single ride. If Deletors can’t find a spot in V-Premium on its own, I’ll have his brother Chaos Breaker help him out.
Chaos Breaker: Locking and Drawing
Throughout the early and mid-game, focus on drawing cards and disrupting your opponents plays with the Chaos Breaker engine.
- Craving Claw helps thin the deck by searching Star-Vaders and rearranging their board by unlocking and relocking cards. The more we see our good boy, the more we see everyone else.
- Zirconium is a key piece for matchups that keep an empty board. Because he forces the opponent to put down at least one card, we have ammo to unlock using Chaos Breaker’s skill, taking away their markers before their power catches up to ours.
- Chaos Breaker Dragon is our secondary boss monster. He draws, gives force markers, and locks down our opponent. Entire decks fold because of him just because he screws with their marker generation. Accel decks fear this lad.
Hoard cards, draw key pieces, and lock your opponent down. All this buildup will pay off when you turn them to glass with a restanding, critical-charged vanguard.
Delete and Show No Mercy!
After drawing and gaining power with Chaos Breaker Dragon, its time to ride into Greidhol and blast them with your vanguard.
- Waving Deletor, Greidhol deletes their vanguard and gains a critical if you ride over a grade 3, which is huge because we farmed up force markers in the previous turn. If the vanguard has two markers, that makes Greidhol hit for 33k to their 0. This hits over critical-sentinels, guaranteeing a two-card guard unless they want to get hit twice!
- Lie-down Deletor, Given makes our vanguard even more threatening. If we have the resources, we can send six cards to the drop zone to restand our vanguard, who already has a critical, maybe even two from the drive checks. If you have cards to spare, you can use Given twice, restanding Greidhol again!
Most decks can’t survive a triple-attacking vanguard, but six cards is a steep cost, no matter how many cards you have. Luckily the Deletors have henchmen that can mitigate this downside to a considerable degree.
The Might of The Deletors’ Front Lines
While farming up using the big three Star-vaders, these Deletors help you recur resources when you finally ride Greidhol and smash.
- Wriggling Deletor, Egbas helps to thin the deck of normal units while drawing a card in the process. Throwing out normal units is key, because a restanding vanguard has drive checks, and we want to hit as many triggers as possible to force our opponent out of the game.
- Hire Deletor, Farwon is the main target we want in our drop zone. When we delete their vanguard, we can flood our board with Farwons to attack and send to the drop zone with Given, and when we delete again, they’ll just pop back, helping to mitigate the costs of Given once more.
- Ill-fate Deletor, Drown helps to fuel our soul and counterblasts since a lot of it will have been used by Chaos Breaker Dragon.
Conclusion
It feels good to be evil sometimes, and I feel what’s most interesting about this deck is the shift in playstyles that can catch your opponent off guard sometimes if they’re not careful. Some unpredictable chaos goes a long way when you’re deleting your opponent.
